I was trying to find a guide for thaumaturge, but it seems none of that is currently on the market. The closest I could find is this Final Fantasy XIV strategy guide. The guide goes into great detail about the guild system. It does a great job in making the concept of guild system easy to understand. It will tell you how to attract guilds, so that you can be wanted anytime and anywhere. It will also tell you how to start your own guild.

Thaumaturge is the main destructive magic class of the game. Most Final Fantasy XIV Guides would describe Thaumaturges as a class that uses death magic, sorcery, poisons and necromancy in order to attack their opponents. They have high magic attack and high Mana Points, which makes them incredibly powerful. Magic is their main weapon, but they can use a staff or specter that can amplify the power of their magic. Their major base is in the desert city-state of Ul’dah, where the Arrzaneth Ossuary is located. As seen by it’s abilities, The Thaumaturge will be a force to be reckoned with.

Below is an overview of the class abilities and spells, for a full guide to the class, getting a complete Final Fantasy XIV guide would be beneficial.
